If you can nurse in a sling, in a frilly dress in a crowded room i'd say let the snarky lady think what she will, you know you rock!

I think we've all done a lot of things wrong--I know we have, and we still make mistakes daily , but we're learning and making ourselves more educated to do what we think is right (for our children and for our families) every day..otherwise we wouldn't be here trying to learn from each other, right?

The hardest thing I find (as someone who was not comfortable nip, not very good at being forceful with rude comments or snarky people), is how to educate people without turning them off to an idea that sounds different to them. Even with friends and extended family, I'm finding it's a struggle to impart a taste of what I've learned in the past few years about AP without sounding too extreme. It's really hard in today's world...

I still don't see how this fits into the conversation we were having but I can do witout you dragging up every thread I've been wrong or changed my mind about. Ot once more, just wanted to say that's great. It IS hard to come here and not feel defensive. The key is to be open minded which you apparently have done. I was not bringing it up to challenge you on your thinking, but in the hopes that you would say pretty much what you did. I have not been around much lately so I have not been witness to your uh"transformation".
