Is the Denise Interchangeable Needle Kit Worth it?

I've been looking all over for 40inch circs and the only ones I can find are the Addi Turbo's which I'm sure are great but they're $16 plus shipping..

I can get the Denise Interchangeable needle set for $40 including shipping..Is it worth it?? Is that the better deal? Will I like them?? Thanks!

I have the Denise Interchangeables and have never used them. I thought that I would use them to knit soakers, but there is no 16" cable, so they didn't work out for me. I bought my Addi Turbos from here.

Are you looking to sell your denise kit?

I know they're not short enough for soakers so I figured I'd have to buy a few more for that..I already have size 4 and 6 circs..I think I need 3 and 7's to do the wooly wonders as well..I just want a good basic system to kint lots of stuff including the wooly wonders longies..

They are totally worth it. I mine. I have almost 1 pair of addis in all the sizes (16 inch and 40 inch) but I could not live without my Denise. They are not good for magicloop but you can order a cord from them to make 16 inch for I believe for $4.00. Check out their site: Denise Interchangeable

I love my denise set so much that I wish I could go back in time and un-purchase the other circs and straights that I have :LOL. Of all the knitting tools I've bought, this was the best investment.

No, I don't work for the company .

I'm a newbie knitter, but I my Knit Denise kit. Right now, I'm using the kit to knit arms for the raglan in the round sweater from LTK by using the magic loop and it's going great.

I love my set!!! I am sooo happy I got one. Infact, dh wants to learn so i'm thinking about getting him his own. :LOL
And I've used the 17in (in the set) in place of a 16in and I've not had a problem. But maybe it's just me?

Crud. They aren't? Why not? I just bought some and was hoping to use them for that very purpose.

Honest, I'm using them for the magic loop and not having any trouble. I think, though, that if you've used something like a Turbo Addi for the magic loop that the Denise set may seem not as smooth. Since I've never used anything other than the Denise kit for doing the magic loop, I don't have a problem with it.

YES!!!

MomInFlux may be correct.

The cord on the addis or inox are small and zip right through. With the denise the cords are thicker and they aren't zippy enough for me. :
