How do you like the wool? I've been eyeing it up for a while and hope to get some once I have some more $ in my yarn fund. :LOL I also really want some of those cute buttons!

What colors did you get? Did you get it in the mail already or just order it? If you got it already, what do you think???

I have two skeins of the thunderbird orange and two of the grassroots that I have made anything with yet. I'm planning a pair of pants for milo with the orange, but I'm going to do a knitted in embellishment with bagdad blue and haven't gotten that order yet. And I'm going to make milo a sweater out of the grassroots (the grassroots btw is absolutely beautiful!).

I'm waiting on my second order with will have the blue and some kamchatka seamoss for another pair of longies. I also got some wooden buttons (for the sweater) and, finally, some felting needles (cheapest price I've seen for them at 25 cents each, usually they're four for $3). I was so happy to see the mini-skeins for $2.25, so I could do an embellishment with it w/o buying a whole skein.

I haven't gotten my order yet. I got Katya pink (katya is my dd's name hee hee), 1 of thunderbird orange and one of hemlock. I am hoping they look good irl. I'll let you know when I get them. I heard they turn beautiful when you block them

FYI, they have a great brown color which is missing from their website. Its not discontinued or anything. I told them it was missing and they haven't done anything about it yet..... pm me if you want to see it.....

its a great combo of purple and greens (sounds wierd, but is really nice)

also, my dd#3's winter sweater is sea moss with chickie and pere pink daisies. It is soooo bootiful.....1 sleeve done, more to go...

I have been using this yarn for about a year and LOVE it......

Well, gals, I just ordered more! No, but, I really *needed* it. That teal has been really calling to me. I'm going to try a felting project with it.

the yarn looks gorgeous! the colors are amazing...
is it as soft and cuddly as it looks like?

lestouffer just posted a co-op for peacefleece over in the co-ops and swaps area, just FYI.

let us know how it felts please...
I've only felted cascade 220
I felted a little tote bag for my 4 year old, I love it, and mean to make myself one soon!
It has a bit of a "halo" (due to the mohair) to it when it felts up, but that is part of the charm.
The Peace Fleece "every day cardigan" was my first sweater for me that I knit. I *love* it. Soon it will be chilly enough to wear it again!

What size needles did you use for your felting project? I just tried size 10 1/2 and it didn't work. There were holes in my felt!

Oh, I can't remember- I am thinking that it was probably something like 10's. How big are the holes? Is the felt well and truly felted, or could it stand a little more?
It might be that it would get better with some more felting, but it is pretty well felted (once through just hot wash and once through whole cycle). The holes are small enough that they are only really visible if you hold the swatch up w/ light behind it. I think I'll try 9s and see what happens.

Oh, those are sooo pretty! I missed the one co-op. but found another and as it is I'm getting nine skeins. Now I might have to add a couple more, lol.

How do you like the feel? Is it rough?

opps sorry forgot to say how it feels. I think it feels very soft, not rough at all. Katya though so too, I think, she kept playing with it.

Is there another co-op? I want in!
Yes, it's lovely and soft, it's got that "sturdy but not scratchy" feeling to it.
I love knitting that supports a good cause, as well as my addiction to yarn!

Ooooh! Very pretty colors! I have some of the firebird orange and it's really brilliant. Love the other colors you got to. What is the green one?
