DH restoring!!!!

This is SO HUGE!!! DH as some of you know forced me to have our son circed just 10 months ago. He has decided (after finally reading what i had on the computer and listening to me) that he was short changed when he was circed and that circ isn't right. This past weekend he asked me about restoring his foreskin!!!! I about fainted dead. He said he wanted to do it. So now i am finding out everything i can about methods of restoration so that i can pass it along to him. I am SO HAPPY!!! I posed it to him also that then him and his son would be different (which was one of his arguments when my son was born) He said he would simply explain to him that he had made a huge mistake and offer to teach him how to restore also (when he is old enough).

Any woman whos DH is for circing...don't give up on convincing him. My DH absolutely forced me to have our son circed. You can find the whole story in another of my posts if you don't already know it.

I just want to DANCE!!! He isn't mad at his mom or dad for it (which i wish he was in a way) but he knows he has missed out on a lot (sexually) due to it. That i believe was the biggest thing for him in convincing him.

Wow! That's really amazing news. there is a lot of info out there on restoring, and I think that probably the best way for him to go is to look into it himself. He is going to have to be the one to decide if he really wants to, and how- what you should do is just tell him that you will support him however he needs... and that includes if he doesn't want to do it after all. If you do all the work and get all gung-ho over this- it could come back and bite you if it turns out that he does not want to go through it- and then it looks like you have a big investment in him doing it.

Let him do the research. There is a book you can get, and you can buy an e-copy online $10- by Jim Bigelow- called the "Joy of Uncircumcising" That's probably a good place to start.

He asked me to find everything i could on it and save it for him. He isn't online much at all...only when he is home a few days every two weeks or so. I will do the research and save everything and he can look at everything i find when he is home.

Leigh wrote me privately about this before posting and I'm telling you, I needed seatbelts on my chair. You could have knocked me over with a feather!

We have had private communications over several weeks (months?) and back then, I never would have believed it could come to this. I have seen her intense pain and now it's joy and I'm happy to help her celebrate. I asked her to come here and tell of this amazing news for all to share. Thanks Leigh!

That's awesome!!

We were at friends' house last week swimming and all 4 boys were running around naked 3 cut and my intact. One of the cut ones got a VERY loose circ, the tip of the head was barely showing, just like when my ds has an erection (except for the color of course). I made a comment on it at home and dh said "I wish they had doen that to me..." (He has a very tight circ) It was the first time he acknoledged wishing it had been different...

What a great story of human nature. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.

My ex looked into restoring and joined a group for support. Do you have a group like that in your area? He however decided not to pursue it. Although I do think that the group was invaluable to him.
