Send me your resources! I want the names of any books, links to websites, etc. which you have found helpful or informative in context of your religious/spiritual journey, along with a very brief description of each. We are compiling a comprehensive list, and need information from all walks of life and different spiritual paths.

many thanks to AnnaReilly who has already compiled Pagan resources in a comprehensive list.

If you have anything to add to the list, let me know.

So far, I have absolutely no links or books regarding Judaism or Islam.

For Pagan resources, check out these two threads:

Directory of Religious Centers in the US
It does not include information on Christian or Jewish centers, as these can be readily found in the local phonebook; however, it does include listings for Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Taoist, and Zoroastrian Temples and Centers, as well as Baha'i and Pagan Centers, Islamic Centers and Masajid, and Sikh Gurdwaras.

Internet Infidels

"We want to uphold the dignity of humanity and to encourage the avid pursuit of philosophy and the scientific enterprise. Our adopted mission is to defend and promote a naturalistic worldview on the Internet. To that end we publish the very best secular essays, papers, articles and reviews. We also stand as a bulwark against the forces of superstition, especially the radical religious right, whose proponents would have us fear knowledge rather than embrace it.

With over 8,000 documents and more than 300,000 unique visitors per month, the Secular Web is the largest and most heavily visited nontheistic website on the Internet."

Hare Krishnas (a Hindu sect)
http://www.iskcon.com/about/index.html

Books would be Bhagavad Gita As It Is, Srimad Bhavagatam, Caitanya Caritamrita ...for the most part.

I also really enjoy this site for all the information about the many divine entities in Hinduism and how and why they are worshipped. http://www.templenet.com/

Caroline Myss, PhD has written some non-denominational books on spirituality which seem to combine philosophies:
Anatomy of the Spirit (I've read this and really enjoyed it)
Positive Energy
Sacred Contracts
