French reading program for French speakers

We have some good friends who are speak French as their first language and are raising their kids here in Arizona. The mom is looking for some materials to help teach her 5 year old DD to read French. They moved here a year ago from Quebec and before then the little girl spoke only French. She is pretty much bi-lingual now.

I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but does anyone know of materials that they might find helpful?
