I ran across this the day after my dd wanted to know if we could go to the moon "next time". (I know I heard the first news story but somehow didn't absorb it.) She was disappointed when I explained that she would probably have to wait at least until she grew up. I guess I should have omitted the part about how she would need special astronaut training. :-)

We were there for the first launch in June. Unfortunately dh couldn't get Wed off so we will miss the "official" X-Prize attempt. It was really cool to be there for that historic launch. The boys were really excited, and John still talks about it.
