Correspondence or online schools for homeschoolers

Does any one know anything about Correspondence or online schools that offer credit and/or transcripts for homeschooled students?

We've chosen to use the American School for high school. I thought it would be easier on DS if he had a 'real' high school diploma, and I also wanted to fill in anything we may have missed. We're pretty happy with it - he only spends 1 - 2 hours per day doing 'school', so we still have time for the important learning It's also relatively inexpensive - the whole program is just under $1000, and they have interest free payments of $40 per month.

We are using Great Books for 8th grade for DS. Although we have only started placement test right now, I have to say I love GBA. I have several friends who have been using GBA for a few months and all of them are very happy. GBA can be expensive if you buy everything through their store. The good news is that you do not have to purchase your materials through them. They will also find a way to work with unschoolers or other methods of schooling.

For DD we are using calvert for kindergarten but I am not using their recod keeping.

Thanks for the info. I am using Calvert pre-school. I will check out the American School and Great books.
