SLOOOOOOOW loading pages?

I cant be the only one with this problem? MDC is soooo slow to load its painful. Has been for the last day and a half I think? I know 2 others have asked me if it was just them, so I dont think its my connection :LOL I'm on a cable modem but MDC takes almost a full minute to load every page?

We had a server crash preceded by slow/no loading of pages yesterday but only for about a half hour.

I'm not having any problem at all. Could it be a US network problem?

Mine has been VERY slow since yesterday too. I have internet cable access at home and work. Both places have been equally slow. I am in US/Mass. if that helps.....

I wouldnt think so as I only have problems with this site. All my other sites/boards load just fine. I just timed how long it took to load this page ... 1 min 50 seconds. I'd hate to be on dial up right now :LOL

I guess to be more clear.. what I get is the top of the page loads... all the way up to the top banner. Then it hangs there for like a minute and a half before the rest of the page loads.

7 min 30 sec with dialup and no other windows open .. local news website - 43 sec. It's been like this since yesterday's crash pretty much.

I'm in the UK and it is very slow for me too. In fact it has been slwoing down all week and is much worse today.

This site has been really slow to load up for me as well. I am in Canada and I have a cable modem. I actually washed several dishes while waiting for this page to load.

Same problem but I can trim it a little:

If I click the stop icon when it pauses near the end, then I cut off a chunk of time and still get the whole page--it even still drops to the last post. Maybe I'm cutting off advertising loading at the side edges where it doesn't even fit on my screen anyway?

It's definitely a mdc problem, I'm having no problem with any other sites. I'm on DSL and it is taking several minutes to load a page. It improved periodically during the day, but is slow again now.

In fact, I only logged on to try to find out what is going on. Hope it's sorted out soon!

im in Japan and here sooooooooo slow too since yesterday i think.....yesterday me and dh were doing clean up of our pc and i was sure we deleted something important so that MDC became slow.... :LOL but i couldnt figure out why only MDC... anyway im relieved its not only the problem here with my pc...

Ok still REALLY slow this AM. The ads, of course :, come right up but the balance of the page is taking over 45 seconds, sometimes as much as a minute to load. I am not having any issues with other sites.
