:LOL I do agree that the songs were hoaky and stupid. I just want to see who wins. My bets are on Kelly. She just seems so popular.

Kelly is sooooooooooooo the deal!

I super *heart* her and will buy her single even though I'm usually immune to those bombastic Dianne Warren power ballads.

I most likely won't be buying the CD but I'm glad that Kelly won.

It seemed to me Justin was genuinely happy for Kelly. He was holding his breath as he waited for the results. I don't blame him. There would have been a MAJOR uproar if he had won. "I'd rather ppl ask why I have no statue than why I do have one. " --a very butchered quote by someone that is slipping my mind.

I read a review of sorts today and it said that the first half of the show there were a lot of "not so stellar performances including a rendition of What A Girl Wants" by a blue eyeshadowed--uh singer??-- ...." I didn't watch the first half. Who were they talking about? Nikki?

Hmmm, maybe they were talking about...

that horrible horrible audition in the first show. The girl, wearing much blue eye shadow, sang Genie in a Bottle. Awful. Personally, I think alot of those 'bad' auditions were by actors who were trying to be funny.

I think they each (justin and kelly) wrote one of those horrid songs, didn't they ? That's what Dh told me.

i don't think they did...

I heard that Dianne Warren wrote them, the woman behind 'How can I live without you" and that Aerosmith song "I don't want to miss a thing."
