I'm late to this post and was kind of laugthing to myself about it because I didn't loss my first tooth on my own until I was in the 5th grade (I had to have most of them pulled) but then I remembered what a hard time I had learning to read and how things didn't click for me until I started junior high. Very interesting idea.

Wow, I never heard that one before. Sure would not apply to us.
All 3 girls started reading on their own with no instruction whatsoever at age 4. None lost their teeth til age 7!
