Happy Thursday everyone! Who said they're irritable? I am TOO! I keep BITING DH's head off his poor shoulders. And I KNOW I'm doing it while it's happening, and I just can't help it. :LOL Poor Paul.

I left work early yesterday, because I was tired, and I was going out for dinner with Paul and some friends. I knew if I didn't go home and take a nap, i'd end up falling asleep in my pasta. As it is, even WITH my nap, I came home and went RIGHT to bed after dinner. I don't think I've ever been so tired in my life.

And "Pregnant Stupid" is starting early. I am turning into a freaking MORON, I swear! :LOL This kid better get a full academic scholarship to Harvard, with the amount of brains she's stealing from me! :LOL

Sooo tired yesterday!

Felt quesy this morning, but it seems better after eating a bagel. I am so afraid of the sickness I had last time--5 mos. of throwing up, busting vessels in my eyes, dehydrating, needing medication.

And I am sooooo fat already! It's stunning, really.

Hi everyone! I have no concentration whatsoever. I am SO tired. Its all I can do to get through dinner and get stuff ready for the next day before I fall asleep! I dont even remember going and getting Maxi out his crib in the middle of the night last night but I woke up and there he was in bed with us!

I am super tired too - I really don't remember being this tired last time. Jack was super sick with a cold last night and barely slept. We were up twice to get medicine, than he had to puke, than I had to pee. Plus I had worked 10 hours yesterday and been up since 4:30. Luckily, dh got up with him this morning and let me sleep. Than when I got up I put in Shrek and we both napped some more. He is napping again right now. Sometimes I wonder how I'm going to make it through this time w/ a toddler. Sorry to whine

pg with a toddler?

Maybe this should be a new thread -- but would love any ideas of how to do this. When I was pg with ds I slept a LOT. Today I was able to talk him into taking a nap with me (two heavenly hours) but he is usually napless these days.

So, I'm sleepy, hungry, and a teeny bit bloated around the belly. My breasts feel a little funny, although they are not tender yet. I am also still super-duper happy. And having really freaky dreams!

toddler

I think this is one way that having a 2nd child is harder. With the toddler you just can't sleep when your body is telling you. You are getting up at odd times. It just makes it harder.
As far a tips, I'm thinking. I have a great DH and he usually pulls late evening duty so I can go to bed at 9-9:30. He then puts #1 to bed for me.
I'm at work and it has been hard to resist taking that nap after lunch at my desk. Since I just started and noone knows about my June bug, I thought I'd better not.

Let me think about what we've done.

Morning, Mamas!

I'm sitting at my desk and work, smelling SOMETHING, and I can't figure out what it is. And it's bugging me. :LOL This heightened sense of smell is something else. I'm going to end up cleaning this entire office today to find this smell.

Last night, i went to bed right after Survivor, 9pm. I don't think I've been to bed by 9pm since I was in grammar school. Then I didn't sleep very well, because if I lay on my back or stomach, I wake up having to pee, and laying on my side gives me gas and/or cramps. So, I'm up every hour or so, either to stumble to the bathroom in the dark or shift position and take some deep breaths. One way or the other, I've been sleeping lousy. And at 4:30, DH's alarm goes off to tell him it's time to get up and go to the gym. Only, HE doesn't hear he alarm, I do. I wake up and kick him out of bed, only to be told, "Today's a six o'clock day" before he rolls over and goes back to sleep. you're kidding, right?

So, when he got back from the gym around 8ish and I was still in bed, I let him have it but good. I'm grumpy when I'm tired. :LOL

talk about heightened sense of smell! so my brother stayed the nigth last night and this morning i smell fresh coffee brewing. i' thinking - what a jerk! he knows i'm pregnant and he's making coffee! when i head downstairs i can't smell it at all. when i get back upstairs i smell it again. it was comming from our neibhors! how crazy! so then i go into the kitchen to get a drink and a little snack, and our trash smells sooooo bad. it's a fresh bag, with just some trash from making dinner last night (which btw i didn't get finished before peter brought home food).

i can smell everything. it's so crazy.

pregnant with a toddler

Well, I know something about this topic! It can be really difficult (especially in the 3rd trimester when you become really big and really tired) but if your toddler is still napping then you get a nice break in the afternoon. Even if he or she isn't you can always have a rest time in the bed or utilize a video every now and then to get a 30 minute break.

It helps to do things in advance the night before. Make snacks, make lunches (pb and j!), set out clothes, whatever will help make your day go easier. Also, my dh steps up bigtime when I'm pregnant--honestly, I expect him to REALLY help out a lot--hey, I'm growing our child in my body the least he can do is to do the laundry or put away dishes or make dinners when I'm feeling really tired!

I have my first midwife appt this Tuesday and I'm kinda nervous. I'm having symptoms but they come and go and for some reason I'm terrified that something will go wrong because I had TONS of spotting during my lp. The spotting is pretty much stopped but I worry about low progesterone...hopefully they can test it to put my mind at ease.

Gotta run. Have a wonderful Friday, ladies!!

I'm having the SAME problem and it's driving me nuts- I'm not sleeping too well, then my dh sets his alarm, and keeps snoozing, meanwhile it's waking ME up on the days I don't have to get up, and then I can't get back to sleep! Last night I slept in a different room to catch up a little, but I still got woken up by some noise outside and then as soon as I finally got back to sleep, the phone rang with a wrong number :

Off to take a nap while my little guy is sleeping
