footling breech/pelvic pain?

My friend sent me an e-mail asking for help. Anyone have any advice?

"Last night I was doing an impression of this guy that used to work
here. It was a walk that he did. Well I think I may have done something to
myself.
My pubic bone hurts somewhat all the time anyways. Well after that I
could feel something coming on, it was hurting more. I figured I just
strained a ligament down there.
Well as the night went on it started hurting more & more. Throughout
the night it was getting harder & harder to move.
This morning, my lower stomach (I mean lower, lower)hurts when I move,
along with my whole pubic area. Also, when I turn certain ways I get
this sharp pain in my butt.
Do you think I need to be worried or I just pulled something.

went to the dr friday & the baby is footling breech. I guess it's
feet are already resting on my cervix & they cannot manually turn it. The
baby has to do it on it's own. At first I was optomistic that the baby
will turn. The other night the baby was moving like crazy & I think it
was REALLY trying to get around. I thought it was half way maybe. Then
I went to bed & in the morning it felt like it was back in the same ol'
position. I don't think it can move. I think it's feet are already too
far down. I tried looking up info on breech pregnancies but alot of the
websites talk about breech births & that does not help me.

I don't know why, I am like totally emotional right now. I am very sad
thinking that I may need to have a c-section. I never thought I would
really care, it is actually easier that giving birth but I don't even
have the choice. "

I think she is about 34 weeks

moxi bustion can help. Accupuncture, chiropractic care (webster technique), doing handstands in a deep pool, visualization, talking to the baby, music low on your tummy, hmmm, I am sure other people will list more info.

However, c-sections ARE NOT EASIER THAN VAGINAL BIRTH. You get the pain AFTER the birth instead of BEFORE. . . while you are trying to deal with a baby. (well maybe a couple people think so, but I know a lot of people who agree with me too).

I would really suggest a chiropractor who is familiar with pregant women. That could really help all that pain she is in. I LOVED my chiro!! She made sleeping possible!!
