Deleted my original post because it just seems silly now.

Deep breath! Okay. Isolate the one or two things that are making you really ache and work on those first. Try to forget about the better house thing for now. Sounds like it is out of reach anyway. What you can do is spruce up and tidy up your surroundings. Stop comparing yourself to others. I've had money and not had money; I've been happy and sad both ways. Your dd is not the issue. Try to give her some unconditional love each day. Treat yourself each day to some non-material nice thing. A walk alone or a hot bath alone. Keep a journal of your thoughts and make a list of non-money activities to do with your family. Don't buy anything that is non-essential. Call in a professional if you do not get to feeling better in a couple of weeks. Your dd deserves a mom who is whole and trying her best.

Happy is partly a state of mind.

I can't offer concrete suggestions at the moment because dinner is about ready to be put on the table. I just wanted to send a hug and let you know that you're never alone and there are people who care about you - even if virtually!

I'll brainstorm some ideas and will get back on line in a bit to see what I can suggest. In the meantime, please remember that you do have value - I, for one, have enjoyed your posts.

Thanks for the replies. I went to my therapist last night and things are a bit more in perspective. In fact, I think I'm going to delete my original post since it seems a bit silly now. But thank you for listening to me.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you! Our DSL went down and it's been one thing after another.

I'm glad you're feeling better. It's not silly - it's life! We all flip out once in a while when we feel our backs are against the wall. Vent away at any time...

Thanks, chalupamom. I know stress hits us and we all freak out sometimes, but I seem to freak out often, and about everything. Gotta change that....

But thank you for caring.
