They can be confusing, huh? The first time I saw dh in a chat room and I found out what it meant, I swore I would not use it. And for a long time I dutifully typed out my husband. I still use the full word often, but I use dh more now. In the CD (cloth diapering) board I was on, we used dd to mean disposable diapers as well as DD for dear daughter. My mom assumed LOL meant lots of love, so now on my family groups page everyone signs their postings lol and I can't figure out what is so funny.
And I know that one member here has GOT GD? as her senior member name and for awhile I thought she had gestational diabetes. LOL
The first time someone mentioned AF I had no clue what that was. She said it meant Aunt Flo. I said, "who is Aunt Flo?" I just call it my period. I had a college roommate who referred to it as her Aunt Sally coming to visit, but Flo makes more sense. I still say period and having sex instead of AF and BD (baby dancing, which doesn't mean dancing with your baby, it means doing the deed).
BTW, 1HT (one handed typing) and NAKing here.
