Natural fiber, warm winter pj's?

Where can I find these?

It seems like all of the pj's in the stores are polyester or covered in chemicals and flame retardants.

Can I have some links of where to buy soft, natural fiber clothing/pj's?

Hanna Andersson

I don't know if this is an answer you're interested in or not, but my DD often sleeps in regular clothes...sweatpants & a t-shirt (or long sleeves, depending on the weather). That keeps us away from all the flame retardent chemicals. She also has some cotton nightgowns, which, oddly enough, have some kind of note on the tag that say they are not supposed to be used for sleepwear ( I assume because they are not flame-resistant).

Re:

I was going to say Hanna Andersson too. I don't buy anything but cotton ones either.

If you are looking for wool sleepers there are 2 places I know of:

Kids-Nature- Their site isn't updated for winter yet.

Children's Woolens

Hanna is great for cotton- especially the zippers because they are warm. Gap, Gymboree and Carters also sell 100% cotton pjs. They are not quite as warm and usually you will need to size up.

I was also looking for 100% cotton, not flame resistant pajamas for my toddler and I have to say that Hanna Andersson is the best I've found. But there's also some styles of Sara's Prints (not all), Oshkosh B'Gosh, and Kushies that haven't been mentioned yet. The problem is that besides Hanna Andersson, everything is thin and skin tight in order to avoid not being flame resistant and that's just not comfy to me. Wool would be wonderful but I thought Hanna Andersson long johns were pricey!

EBay is good for HA long johns, also there's a coupon code for HA, 31h20 for 20% off expires 11/21 I think.

I've been wondering about this- do any WAHM's have soft wool jersey jammies? I have seen infant sized pants but not full jammie sets. I'd love some of those, but DD wants to be naked and DS gets too hot. Cotton works just fine for us. Mostly Gap and Old Navy- and HA on sale

hanna's nightgowns have flame retardents

I have been looking as well for some pj's without flame retardent. I have checked Hanna's and Sara's Prints. If they are pajamas or nightgowns (which is what I'm looking for for my dd) they all say they meet flame resistant or retardent standards. Sara's Prints brags that they were the pioneering company to present 100% cotton cloth with flame resistance. I'm bummed about it. I've bought regular long johns before but my dd would really like a night gown. The one she is wearing is way too small. She doesn't want long johns....she really likes to wear a night gown. I thought that our kids' pj's were 100% cotton with flame retardent because I bought them from Hanna's. I was wrong. The tags all say they meet flame resistant standards. I don't sew or I'd just make one myself. I wonder if there are some WAHM's out there that do. It may be against federal law to advertise as such. I thought maybe I'd get her a cotton play dress to use as a gown....might be the only option.

I could be wrong, but if sleepwear is snugfitting doesn't it make it compliant to the flame retardant thing even if the fabric itself is not flame retardant?

Hanna or ever Carter's cotton sleepers. The Carter's terry cloth ones seem really comfy when my dd wears them.
