Does anyone have a pattern for recycled sweater pants?

I found a bunch of merino sweaters and lambswool sweaters for $2 each, so I bought them. I was wondering if someone had instructions on how to turn them into longies/wool pants? What would I sew the arms up with in order to turn them into pants?

Thank you!!

Warning, these are addictive. I've made 16 pairs so far, 12 for my son and 4 for a friend, and have sweaters for a few more! Sometimes you can get a second pair or two from the front and back of the sweater. These are pretty much his winter wardrobe, we've been using them for about 6 weeks already.

Good luck!

I used this pattern:

It was so easy and fast to make the pants. I am a total novice seamstress and I just have a regular sewing machine and I still made a pretty great pair of pants on my first attempt.
