any easy dish cloth patterns/face cloths that are free

I want to make dish cloths and face cloths for Christmas for my family and my husbands family but I can only knit and pearl and I don't know what is the best yarn to use for these things. If anybody has any ideas I would LOVE it. Also I would love to learn some new pretty stitches that are easy!!!

100% cotton yarn in worsted weight is the best yarn for dishcloths. The first pattern that I ever did was from the book The Idiot´s Guide to Knitting and Crocheting (stupid title but good book for learning) and it was a pretty pattern with some decorative edges (kind of looked like eyelet). You can get dishcloth patterns from the inside of the yarn labels too. Good luck!

FOr the facecloths that I am making for Xmas I am using Lion Brand microfiber. It is good very soft stuff, and the facecloth I made for myself is great!
