Suggestions anyone? This may not be the best forum to post this, but I am thinking that you ladies may have some good resources for compact living, because small homes are more energy efficient, force you to reduce clutter, etc.
We have a 2 BR 1 Bath duplex (about 950 sq. Feet - love that it is "small" by today's standards) and are in need of something different for living room furniture. We have a overly large couch that neither of us likes very much (not comfortable) and it takes up so much space that we have only one other chair in the room. Not condusive to conversation when we have company, because our couch is a 2-cushion model, so if three people try to sit on it the middle person sinks in the crack.
I am leaning toward a couple of loveseats (maybe one that is a fold out sleeper), or perhaps a bench, loveseat, and recliner. A sleeper appeals to me as my parents often visit from out of state, and it would be nice to have someplace they can sleep.
So...if you have any furniture that you love, or know of good sites where I can compare furniture for compact living..please let me know.
