Or do I have to buy them for 15$ each online?

Do you know of the best place to buy them if I have to?(Cheapest)

If I buy white ones, are they easily dyable with kool-aide or food coloring?

You can get blanks from dharmatrading.com or thaisilks.com. Look for 8mm habotai silks. And you can dye them with kool-aid (probably food coloring, but I haven't tried it yet).

Run! There is a co-op right now for Dharma, you can save money ordering playsilks with other MDC mamas!! Here is the link: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=206061.

So you can dye the silks from Dharma with kool aid? How does it look? I've been looking into getting in on the co-op and getting some dyes too..What should I get for dyeing the silks and CPF's? Thanks!

I highly recommend the company paper scissors stone at www.waldorfsupplies.com which sells prehemmed silk in different sizes and weights and silk yardage and much other useful raw materials.

Kool Aid dying silks is fun. my ds1 wanted to do theirs last time and he did an awesome job. they have been washed several times and still looks great!
but if you are doing cpf anyway, the dharma colors are fun, and real easy. ds1 was made i did not let him do those though.
I have also used dylon from joanns and it seems to be doing well

So if I wanted to dye about 5-10 silks for presents and 25 or so cpf's what would I need to buy? It's so confusing when you've never done any dyeing before!! Thanks!
