new home.. prayers please!

Ladies, I usually don't do this but if it's one thing about mothering and the forums I know the power of prayer or whatever you want to call good people hopes can be very strong!!
We've been looking for a home that we can rent and then eventually buy. I saw one today that seems too good to be true and it's beautiful and affordable and definitely bigger than my one bedroom house. With another little one on the way it will be a complete blessing to have this home.
We were the first to see it but of course have to beat out the rest of the inquiries nonetheless. Please keep some good hopes and good thoughts that this new home will work out.
It's a dream of mine to be able to have a home where I can invite people and feel good about where I live; be proud that I can provide a home for my kids and all of that warm fuzzy stuff.
At 30 it's about freaking time
Take care everyone and thanks so much...

Thanks guys Even if it doesn't work out it's so cool to know people are rooting for you!
I should find out tomorrow. The best thing about it is that the people renting it are looking to sell it. We should be able to buy in about a year's time and this house is exactly what I'd pick out if I were looking for one to buy.
I have talked to one of the owners, the other one is the one who makes the decision. We spoke in length twice, once yesterday for abot an hour. She likes me, her dad likes me (He showed us the house), but I have to get past "partner" who makes the final decision and looks at the credit report.
So I'm still on pins and needles even though she told me it was o.k. to get my hopes up. DH thinks it's too good to be true and we've always missed out on things that we really really wanted. Of course this is material things, not my awesome boy
Thanks again!!!!

Best wishes to you, Karen! So what is the most recent news about the house? I just saw that you are in Baltimore- I am in MD, too, and I think I saw someone else who just joined in MD also.

Totally, totally, understand that. I grew up in a not-so-warm-and-fuzzy house that I didn't like to bring friends over to and wasn't proud of, so that is one of my main goals, is to make our home a loving and wonderful place that my kids want to hang out and and want to come home to. I think that is SO important. Not that actual size, niceness, etc. of the home itself but the atmosphere and acceptance in the home.

Thanks Mary
No news just yet. We were supposed to find out today but will have to wait until tomorrow. The owner of the home is overseas and her father has been helping her out. He called me yesterday to update me, said that she was leaning towards us I still don't want to get my hopes up. He asked if I wanted to come over again to see it and I told him I didn't want to come over again unless I knew it was ours lol!
I noticed a few moms from Maryland. Something must be in the water!
This house is in Catonsville and it's in a great neighborhood. Matter of fact the second I pulled into the street I was greeted by an older gentleman who lived there and briefed on his life story lol!
I'll let you all know what happens...
