LOST -picking up from episode 4... - Page 2

Has anyone noticed the tatoo on the musican young guy? It says Living is easy with your eyes shut. I was watching a John Lennon Beetles docu and finally realized that is from the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I wonder if they are all dead "eyes shut" but think they are living.

I thought that the woman must speak English! She always seemed to understand what everyone was saying!

You know for a brief while I thought maybe it was like the Sixth Sense and they are all dead but don't know it? KWIM? But I'm not sure now....

ok well I thought there were only 2 bodies... a man & a woman.. Hence the comment "our very own Adam & Eve"....??????
before all that holt said "where did these men come from?" and jack replied "one of them is is female".

I have to record te shows I want to watch to watch it in peace,so I have it on tape.

I thought there were only two bodies also? I was half asleep though and even missed the stones in the pouch apparently...

they may have only showed two but he said"men" and jack said "one of them is female".

Jack says that the bodies are like 50+ years old due to the decomposition & condition of the clothes...... So that rules out the whole "Previous wreckage" people scenario
Does it? Things are different there. There was 1 polar bear living in those climates which doesn't happen. Decompositon could be faster due to the "magic on the island" as the old man put it.

IMO the korean woman stayed with him because he's abusive to her and she thinks he'd change.

abusive how? do you mean like demeaning her? They never showed him being physically abusive, just the opposite, she slapped the hell out of him and he just looked at her. I wouldn't call him verbally abusive either, just rather dismissive of her.

Mama 25, the quote is actually from Strawberry Fields although I can figure out the significance of it yet.

Did anyone notice the musician guy slip up and say something like, "So these are the folks who were here first," or something along those lines, as if he knows something no one else does.

Physically, verbally and emotionally abusive. The way he talks to her, her reactions & manner after, the things he's said to her, the timing of him giving her the flower all give me the impression that he is physically abusive towards her. The way he talks to her is a form of verbal abuse. Both of them lead to emotional abuse.

Yes, Id say his overprotective-ness borders on being abusive.
The way he tells her she looks bad, or orders her around, is sad. He is hardened from what it apears he once was. (wich is understandable, being a hit man & all...) :
I can understand that, but I don't think he was physically abusive towards her at least not from what they have shown. I think alot of it has to do with some kind of korean cultural thing on how the woman is suppose to behave. Of couse she probably fell in love wih him because he was not like that but changed after being a hitman. I think she wanted to leave him because she found out what he does but if he was physically abusive wouldn't he have beat the hell out of her after she slapped him. She doesn't so much seem scrared of him to me just unsure of who or what he has become, my take.

my satellite blinked out when he came home covered in blood - what was the deal? seems she got the better of him in the end, after she got the guy to set him free in a way.... she was holding up that pretty dress and smiling and gave him a look like "yes, I am going to wear this thank you very much!" Why were they in Australia?

ok he came home covered in blood and it weasn't his blood. She was asking what happened are you ok? where is this blood coming from, as he washed it off it was obvious he wasnt hurt, then she said WHOS blood is this!? .... What exactly *DO* you do for my Father??? His reply "Whatever your father tells me to..."

They were suposively coming to the US for a "Vacation". She was going to leave him though. There was a car to pick her up at 11:15 to "kidnap" her & she was going to disapear.

When she slapped him didn't she have long hair and then when she was talking to the lady about leaving him her hair had been cut short and the dog/puppy was alot larger. I know it takes all of 5minutes to cut hair short but I'm pretty sure the dog was alot bigger. My impression when he came home with the blood on him that it was the first time he had to do whatever it was he did. Alot can happen in a few short months. IMO, there's more to the story than what we've been told so far. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that he was physically abusive to her.
