Flour sack towels for cheap? The best I have seen is about $1.40 each. I want to replace all my bulky kitchen towels & paper towels with them.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

i'd say your best bet is wal-mart. maybe that's not the answer you were looking for, but imo they're always cheapest!! good luck

Wal Mart--5 for 5 bucks. I know, WM is pretty much evil but being on a tight budget sometimes you have to.....
That said, the ones that say Made in China suck. They are thin and get holes easily. the ones that say Made in Russia are awesome! The weave is a bit tighter and sturdier. The China ones feel almost like gauze, not good for the abuse kitchen towels take. So it is hit or miss--they change out frequently so you have to look through them here and there to find the made in russia ones. I use flour sack towels exclusively in the kitchen and they rock, I have tons of them and we go through about 7-8 per day with dirty mouths, spills, drying hands, I even use them when I make fries (I'm a french fry addict) instead of paper towels and they do very well.
