Do you soak your mama cloth???

I used mama cloth from when DD1 was born until I got pregnant again this time. I never soaked my pads (I didn't mind the stains) I think this pregnancy is making me crazy because the idea of NOT soaking my postpartum pads is driving me crazy!!!!

Do you soak your mama cloth???

In what do you soak 'em (if you do)?????

I love the 'pad pots' but would prefer to spend less $$.......

I rinse if they are saturated, pour peroxide on them, and toss in the diaper pail.

ditto....rinse in cold water, pour peroxide on them and throw them in the dry diaper pail. also use liquid oxyclean if i'm out of peroxide.

i rinse mine in the sink in cold water. then i throw them in an old ceramic canister that i got at a second hand store for about 50 cents. in that i have cold water and usually a couple drops of tto. i change the water daily if for some reason they don't get tossed into the daily washload of dipes!

I've been rinsing mine in the sink and then wash them with my diapers. I don't mind the staining but I do mind when they get too set and are ruined! I actually have only done this with panties and not my pads.

I am using cloth pads right now for pp and I do not soak mine. I put them in a cold rinse cycle with TTO. Than I follow with a hot wash with Allen detergent and a little lavender EO. My hemp pads are slightly stained (barely can see it) but my fleece pads are spotless! I just worried about my little ones playing in my soaking pot. Maybe in the future I will get one, but for now this is what is working for me.
