Does anyone know what this bug is?

I used to call them "stinkbugs" when I was little. They are black, diamond-shaped, and sit up on these skinny, bent legs. We get them in our bedroom and they seem to like being near or on the windows. I may find one a day-not an infestation, of course, but I really don't like them and would love to get rid of them. Anyone have any thoughts??? :

I think I know what you mean, but is there any way you could post a pic?

I could, actually. I've already seen two today and didn't capture them on film. But I will if I can...they're ugly and sort of prehistoric-looking and about 3/4 long...

Do the have a "horn" on top of their heads?

Maybe you can do an internet search for the picture...

The ones I have around here (black and orange in color) are beneficial in that they eat bad bugs like aphids. Though that website I linked says that some are carnivorous and some are totally herbiv... uh, they eat plants.

God Bless the internet!!!

Stafl-You got my bug! And all along I thought that I had made up the word "stinkbug". My DH was starting to think that perhaps they liked down-b/c we have a down comforter and pillows. Who knows???? I just know we never had them before, and now we do.

Thanks so much. I love MDC. Serves all my needs-including my insect needs!
