I could be talked into a diaper party, depending on when. I'm in Mississauga...somewhat central-ish (a hour from the eastern folks and 1-2 hours from the westerner)...heck, I've even hosted a diaper party before...well, sort of...I'd have to see if I could talk hubby into it again...

Missisauga sounds good! Can we bring IRL CDing friends that aren't on MDC? Oh, and could someone please explain to me exactly how a diaper party works? Thanks!

Miss is cool with me too but if we do decide we want it in Brantford I can probably host! I was actually thinking of doing it at my church (in Ancaster actually) because we'd have much more space and toys, etc.

Let me know!!

Oh you guys are so lucky...I know people here in Montreal that CD but no one gets as shall we say as excited as I do...

BTW Does anyone know Licks in Hamiltion..the veggie burgers are soo yummy!!! I have family in Hagersville and the last few times we have visited we go to Licks. I drool just thinking about it..

Me too! I live in Milverton, which is kinda between Stratford and Kitchener. I could maybe go to Mississauga with the kiddies. It's only an hour from here.

And yes, ScotiaSky, I've been to Licks! When I went to university in Ancaster (just outside of Hamilton) at Redeemer, we went there sometimes. DH has family in Hagersville too! (Supposed to be going there for a wedding on Saturday).

Count me in mamas! What is all involved in a diaper party anyways?

Sounds like a good idea

I love Mississauga as a city, I just can't drive there (huge fear of major hwys)...thats the reason why I'm not voting Mississauga...cause then I can't come

You live in Montreal?
We lived there for years and sitll have most of our family there.
we lived in Verdun, and my MIL lives Henri-Bourassa and Langelier area. My dad lives in the east end, near PAT.

where are you?
we go up a coupel times a year, I would love to get togeather. I think the next time we go is the summer though, but Iwould love to talk fluff with someone:LOL

I'm new here and I live in Woodbridge, Ontario minutes away from Canada's Wonderland. This is my first post but i'm often lurking into wee hours of the morning.

I only know 2 mommas that use cloth but through a diaper service. I soo want to be crunchy and MDC is slowly guiding me toward crunchiness. You all seem to kind of know each other so I feel a little weird posting. I'd love to attend and meet you all "in person".

Kelly - If we decide on Miss maybe we could carpool?? I don't mind driving the highway and I'd hate for you to have to miss the party! I just have me and dd so there's room in the car for you and your little ones too.

So, where and when in Miss ladies??

Hey, I know a diaper/wool WAHM in Brantford, I'm going to see if she wants to come too, if that's ok. She's not an MDC mama, but she's cool and she makes NICE stuff. Bargain woolies! Is that ok?

Well, if we do it in Miss, I am happy to host in my house if we can swing it...it's not a huge house, but I've had 20 or so people in here before...and I'm just minutes of the 401 (as in less than 5 if you get all the lights). My only complications are:

1. An impending in-laws visit
2. After Nov. 16 is ideal, but I could swing it earlier
3. Mondays or Thursdays are best for my family schedule, I could also swing a weekend.

I think that about covers it...so, is Miss still a good option? Anyone keeping track of the votes? How many of us is there?
