A CD party sounds fun, I have a wee babe who's not fond of the car right now though. Make sure you guys take lots of pics!

You wanna get togeather and talk about fluff?

I am totally up to help out with planning the diaper party, but in the mean time would love a CD buddy close by who understands the fluff obsession:LOL

Uh, nobody has answered what a diaper party is. I assume it's when you get together and trade diapers? If that's the case, what if someone doesn't have diapers to trade (such as myself, since I'm new to this and have a very small stash) - does that mean I can't come?

BTW, Hey Brantford mamas, I'm going there on Thursday to get DD's and my pictures taken - does anyone want to meet up while I'm there?

I've never been to a diaper party myself but I'm sure it could be whatever we want it to be. I really don't have anything to trade either but that wouldn't stop me from going I think its nice just to see what else is out there and talk with like minded mammas

Oh and I'm a Brantford mamma and I'm totally up for a meet (as long as you don't mind me towing along two rowdy kiddies ) Check your pm

Since I'm new to CDing, that'd be so cool for me to actually see different diapers that are out there in person - it's so hard to see what they're like from pictures online. That would probably help me so much in figuring out which ones to order later on.

So it seems like Mississauga is the main consensus here?
can we maybe pick a day and time? MM are you out there? are you still up to hosting?

This is pretty cool! and sounds like its going to be fun! I agree with other posters weekends only please!

Is it too late for me?? I was directed here from the find your tribe board. I am pregnant with my first so as yet I only have a couple diapers, but it would be so helpful to be able to see the different dipes up close and get opinions on what works! Mississauga is great for me, I'm in the Milton area (Moffat for anyone who may know) I'd be happy to drive someone from this area if someone has no car.
Let me know if I can join!!

Okay...I think I am going to have to beg off hosting. I'm tied up the next two weekends and the the in-laws arrive...and trust me, you do NOT want to come here while the in-laws are here.

They aren't leaving until the 4th and then DH is travelling for work and will only be home on the weekends. So, it just looks like it won't work out for me. Unfortunately, that means I won't be able to come elsewhere though since I have one who needs to be picked up from school everyday.

So have fun mama's where ever you have it!

Hmmm. Well, it's really short notice, but what the hey - I'm hosting a few local Hamilton area MDC mamas next Tuesday afternoon. Why don't I open it to whoever can make it and we'll have a quickie diaper party? PM or email me if you're interested!
