My oldest is about to turn 4 and is currently in a special ed preschool program. She likes it, it all seems great, but I always thought that I'd homeschool my kids - possibly with a partial at-home/in-school program. But before I go jumping into anything I'd like to know all my options so that I choose what's right for us. So I've heard of unschooling but honestly don't know anything about it. Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Also, any advice on dealing with a special needs child would be great. My dd isn't so terribly far off, but she does have speech delays (at least a year behind) and her comprehension is definitely lacking. The other issues aren't bad. Dh was in favor of homeschooling before we learned about her special needs, but now thinks that we probably can't give her all the help she needs. I question that too. Thanks!!!
