DH is driving me insane!

Okay I have decided that I can handle the throwing up, dizzy spells, swollen ankles, cramps, contractions, and heartburn.

What is going to push me over the edge into insanity is my darling, loving, dh. First of all he has taken this protein thing to new heights last night. The man actually counted the eggs in the fridge when he got home from work!!!!!

When I went into labor with ds there were no false starts we just started and went so dh is incredibly jumpy with all this contracting, show, and vomiting. It makes me feel like a watched pot. I can't take it.

Oh Steph I so here you on feeling like a watched pot! My DH keeps talking to my stomach and telling Niamh she needs to come out and play with daddy right now He didn't start this with Rhys until I was already a week late and I am not even 39 weeks yet...talk about pressure to perform!

Hopefully things get moving for you soon and you will finally "boil" LOL!

My dh is driving me crazy, too, but for a slightly different reason. They're training the IT dept. at his work in some new language this week so he has to be in at *gasp!* 8:00am! Oh my gosh... how early! Whatever. Anyway, so he gets home and falls asleep on the freakin' couch! I feel like a single mom this week. Plus, he keeps telling me when the baby can come. First it was next Friday, so he could finish training. This time, its this coming Sunday, and here is why: he can finish one week of training and pick up the last week after his leave, he can sleep in and rest on Saturday (while I take care of Mabel) and then he'll be all ready to help me in labor on Sunday. Well I know that's *exactly* what I was worried about, him being well rested for *my* labor.

Could someone come smack him, please? The idea of pampering, or at least helping, your nine month pregnant wife completely escapes the man.

I think I would have to choke him or go into labor during one of the prohibited times.

I think you should go into labor when he says you can't, personally!! My dh is being really good so far, but he learned with Eli when to leave me the heck alone...I had to arrange for me or him to sleep in another room as we've both come down wtih fall allergies and are snoring our little fool heads off...who ever gets woken by the noise gets to leave...

I'm zonked out too and every night my feet swell up for some reason...but Tom has been great..he opens the hot tub for me and massages my feet..and he cooks dinner too. I'd send him around to sub in for your husbands but I need him too much!

I hate to think mean things about dh, but I would love to go into labor late tonight or maybe Monday morning, right after he gets to work. :LOL

Now I feel guilty for complaining about mine because he is so good about helping and making dinner and all that.

I shouldn't complain about over attentive, I guess but it can be just as annoying. Why can't men just find a happy medium?

My dh asked for a back rub today as he has a sore muscle from sitting at his desk at work. I told him he had two alternatives. Give me a backrub, or get hit over the head with a large, heavy object.

He has just cleaned the kitchen, which was a disaster zone, so is back in good favour now.
