I just found out 4 days ago that I'm pregnant. I haven't been to a doc yet, but I'm about 3 wks. pregnant. I just moved to Utah 4 wks. ago, so I'm trying to find a doctor. We are so excited!!! It's just a little nerve racking since I'm new to the area and I don't have a doctor. It will be nice to have others to talk to about all this.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Congrats! I think by the way the birth professionals date your pregnancy, you are actually 5 weeks pg (they count from your LMP- this is just the standard way of dating it)
Also, have you considered having a midwife? They can do hospital births or homebirths. Some midwives do only hospital births, others only home births, some do both. Anyway, studies show lower rates of unnecessary interventions and a safer delivery with a midwife-attended birth rather than an OB-attended birth. www.birthpartners.com might give you some leads in your areas.
