Thanks for the hugs everyone. We certainly needed them.
The worst part is, they didn't actually get any blood drawn. They failed on both tries, so we have to try all over again in a few weeks. I've gotten some good advice from my cousin the pediatric nurse about where to go, so we'll try that. But they get one shot at getting the blood. If no luck, we'll try again some other time. I'm not putting him through 2 arms again. He has broken capillaries in his right arm from having the tourniquet thingy on for so long. Its awful.
Liz, BTW, loved that toddler song.
Have any of you listened to
Philadelphia Chickens by Sandra Boynton? There are a couple of very appropriate toddler songs on there and its good kids music that you won't mind singing along to in the car. I especially

the song
Snuggle Puppy. I highly recommend it.
Henry is now clearly and consistently saying "Ma" or "Ma-Mum" when he wants me. He's also got a sound that sort of resembles balloon and he's identifying the balloon in
Good Night, Moon. He also has a consistent phrasing for "what's that" although it in no way resembles "what's that" (or anything else in the English language for that matter). Other than that, no real words. On occasion, he says something that sounds like he's repeating something we've said, but then he doesn't say it again for weeks so it was probably just a fluke. He does baby sign nurse (to everyone but me :LOL -- me, he just yanks on my shirt) and sometimes "all done." We're working on "more," "book," and "ball." Oh, and he can climb out of the bathtub.
