Nov/Dec 2003 November Thread! Our babies are turning One! - Page 5

Yeah Christy! Congrats! Have you decided on a senior name yet? I'm STILL thinking :LOL

I've had a case of baby fever, but I've found the perfect cure for it - spend time with a 3 yo! Everytime I find myself really getting antsy for a baby, I start concentrating on Danielle's tantrums, attitude, and general 3 yoishness. :LOL

I thought MDC was supposed to be down?

Congrats Christy! The first 1,000 take forever then they add up quick. Just ask Sherri who's almost at 3,000.
It was suppose to be down but the notice said sometime this weekend so I guess their not ready yet.

I was thinking of what Angelica would wear on her birthday party and decided for the heck of it to try on the christening dress she didnt get to wear (cause I forgot it at home and we were 50 miles away). It fits her so awesome. So thats what she will wear.
I'll post a pic- http://www.snapfish.com/share/p=2176...=SYE/otsi=SALB
The dress says its a size 0. I'm assuming 0-3 but I imagine it runs big!

Tammi - She is so cute! That dress is darling. I thought Christening dresses were supposed to be super long for some reason. That might be why it fits her so well now! :LOL

Christy - I remember how exciting it was for me when I hit my 1000th post! I still haven't gotten off my butt about finding a senior name. I guess I'm with Sherri here!

Sherri - I hear ya on the 3 year old being great birth control! Although, all this talk of pregnancy is making me think about it a bit more than is comfortable. Thankfully, I have DH as a steadying influence when I start to get all googly eyed about newborns. :LOL

Well, I'm off to do some work so I can take Katie to the movies tomorrow!

Well, when she was 3 months old it probably was super long. I dont even remember. Now it is perfect in the length. She looks like a little bride. We took her outback behind a brown fence like in the pic you saw but had all the leaves in the yard around her in the pictures. Nice and fall looking. I'll post some more later cause i love to share.

Not much to report around here. Henry actually ate 2 good meals today -- first time in weeks. I didn't let him nurse w/in 2 hours before eating so I guess he was really hungry. He still gives me a "are you sure you're not poisoning me" look with the milk, but I think he'll come around eventually.

Gotta go finish up dinner.

Those pictures of Angelica are beautiful She looks so grown up. I can't believe that our babies aren't really babies anymore....

Evan is walking everywhere. Just 4-5 steps here and there, but he loves it. He also LOVES to dance. We put music on and he goes nuts. Especially 80's music :LOL

gotta go- DS is still up- Ds is going to rock him THANK GOD I am exhausted. I can see the 2 molars on the bottom poking though :

Those pics of Angelica are precious! Oh my goodness that dress is absolutely beautiful!
Congrats Christy!!
Not much to report here except I just settled Branden down after he dove out of the laundry basket he was playing in and put his 2 bottom teeth through his upper lip I feel so darn bad....was trying to keep him occupied while I put laundry away...
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Thanks Ladies I was so surprised it fit her so well still. At least we'll get to show it off.
Off to a baby shower today full of mostly strangers!!!!
hey thanks

tammi~~Angel is soooooooo cute, but you knew that already, lol.

Sage is getting her molars too. she will actually let me feel them sometimes, they are just under the gums. She has not pooped in 4 days. Thats the longest she has gone so far. She isn't grumpier than usual, and her belly isn't hard or uncomfortable when i touch it, (she laughs histerically when I rub her tummy, lol), so I'm not worried, just a bit nervous, ya know.

just got back from spending the weekend with BIL and his GF. I got to meet the rest of DH's family exept 1 uncle. They are all so sweet and so supportive. I also got to go christmas shopping with BIL's GF. that was so fun. I haven't gotten to *SPEND* money in so long!! LOL. She bought like $200+ worth of stuff, and I bought $70, LOL!!! Although $30 was a good winter coat for me. I needed it. It was originally $90....boy can I find a sale or what!!! LOL. Since I'm on a hot streak, I'm going to call the realtor tomorrow and see when I can go inside this house and how much i can haggle them down on the price.

Take care!

ps~~i was thinking of "INSERT SENIOR NAME HERE" for my senior title til I came up with a creative one, lol.

yes, Angelica is an angel in that dress!

a little late, but here's my little spider in his halloween costume:

and in the spirit of Halloween, here he is playing dead:

i don't know why he loves to sit in his stroller that way, he just does. people give me funny looks.

my big developmental announcement: ds is drinking water out of a cup FINALLY!!! he stopped taking any kind of bottle a couple months ago, so i've been pushing the cup and he's finally into it. he seems to really love it, in fact. whew, i'm so relieved. and he's eating more and more solids - i have been kind of anxious about that.

congrats Christy! i'm planning to hit my senior status for xmas...

Angelica has been having a poop problem this week too. It reminds me of the babies first poop afterthey are born.
fyi
If you use that senior title now (which is cute btw) You will have to pay 2.50 to change it later

That picture is soo cute. The spider one is too but the "playing dead" one made me laugh.
Good for him on the sippy cup!!!!!!!
I can only get Angelica to use the sippy cup cover from tupperware. They are not leak proof and she will not take anything else. Well, she does love her brothers sunny d with the sport top on it but thats not leak proof either.

Oh, The shower was nice. Would have been better if my "little angel" wasn't such a devil !!!
She made me hold her for 3 hrs and fussed while I held her. She would not give me a break for a minute.
The only time she didnt fuss is when i borrowed a stroller from another mama and took her for a walk. But I wanted to be inside...... so even though i wasnt holding her and she wasnt whining I was miserable....
Teething, poop problems and 20 min nap. I should have went to my mothers instead!!!!

I think the reason for it is to help with the boards and so people are constantly asking to change their title.

howdy ya'll. just checking in.

haven't posted here in a while. i wanted to see what your little babes are up to these days.

my ds (born dec. 18) loves his sippy cup. we had trouble finding one that he could actually hold b/c he couldn't manage to hold it up and tilt it. so i found big brother's sippy bottle with a straw and lo, and behold, he loves it. he doesn't really have to hold it up. he can use a straw and it doesn't spill. it's definitely saved us!

molars, did i hear molars? well, the little guy has 8 teeth with molars on the way: biting, drooling, fussy, etc. i'm so amazed at how two boys can be so different. ds2 has 8 teeth to the 1 tooth ds1 had at this same age!!

anyone walking yet? mine prefers scooting/crawling and he's so fast that he gets impatient with trying to walk. although when his little 13mo cousin comes over and walks, my little guy doesn't like to be shown up and insists on walking. it's hysterical.

what else is going on with ya'll? i'm really falling in love with his little personality. so different, so funny. so me. : it's scary.
guerillamama~~what a cutie! when ppl give you funny looks about how he likes to ride in his stroller, just stare back at them, lol.

loftmama~~i am loving sage's personality too. it is so neat to see this little person develop. altho i do miss the baby she used to be, i cant wait to see the person that she becomes. She's pretty even as far as her temper...she only gets impatient if she is really hungry or something. everyone has been making comments about what a "good baby" she is, and how sweet she is.
Hi everyone ... cute pics of the spider, and too funny on the stroller pic. Henry does something similar in his high chair except he laughs. Now when we say "Be cute" while he sits in the high chair, he does it. Silly baby.

Henry either has a cold or is teething or both. His nose is all runny, he's drooling buckets, he's chewing his fingers like mad (and keeps biting himself, poor thing), his cheeks are rosy and warm, he's sleeping like poop (although he's taking a nap at the moment, thankfully), and he's nursing like there's no tomorrow. Problem is, I neither see nor feel ANY new teeth top or bottom. Guess it'll be a surprise!!! I really hope he's not sick, though, as I would hate for him to be sick for his b-day.

Anyway, not much more to report. I'm so I could . But if I indulge in anymore , I'm going to be !
