Voting!

I hope that most of you are able to get out and vote today. As a concerned Canadian, I know I speak for many in the north when I say that this election if extremely important on a global level. Though you may be having a hard time getting out of the house these days, hopefully you can spare the time to get to the polls.
Cheers!

I was thinking about posting this as well! I voted, dh voted so now we can have the baby:LOL I was actually worried about making it to Nov. 2nd since we did not do the absentee ballot thing.

Both DH and I voted! We just took turns driving over to vote so one of us could be home with the baby. This election was worth leaving the house for, even though my vote doesn't mean much in the state I live in.

i voted too! there was a line of about 30 people, so it took close to 45 minutes. neat that there's so much turnout.

9 months pregnant and two hours in line with a 2 year old, but I did it! My vote doesn't count for anything on a local or national level in my county and state, but I don't care... I always vote. Dh voted, too.

I keep telling dh that if the baby is born today and our canidate wins, we need to add his name onto the baby's! He thinks I'm crazy! :LOL

(Trying not to be too political... but I'm sure you know who "our canidate" is. )

I actually voted absentee a couple of weeks ago just in case. It's the first year since I turned 18 that I haven't gone to vote and I'm actually kind of sad! I'm such a dork! :

YAY for you mama! That's a long time to be in line and with a 2 yo.

I thought the same thing about the canidate and our baby's name :LOL although dh doesn't think I'm crazy

Yeaa to all of you! Even if you feel it doesn't make a difference in your state, it always helps to get your opinion out there! I'm going to be glued to the TV tonight...

Funny, I had the same thoughts about including the name, but I didn't really think that the name would have fit.

And then we got the results... and no baby...
