Contacting TV shows

OK, this is based on an idea from someone else's thread about creating a more positive atmosphere for breastfeeding in our country. Bringing more postitive bf influences into mainstream america.
Lucy on the WB show 7th Heaven is pregnant. I think we should all contact the show and let them know that she should breastfeed. She definately seems like a young mother who would want to do what was best for her baby. They could even make it something she struggles with at first, but her husband helps her succeed by encouraging her and doing all the diaper changes. Ok, I"m getting ahead of myself. But this show has done a lot of episodes about social issues, like teen pregnancy, adoption, foster kids/parents, etc. So why not BF?

Unfortunately I don't have a link. I've never sent fan mail, and when I searched the web I couldn't find a link to write them at, but I am sure there is one. Can someone help me out here?

The website for WB tv is www.thewb.com but for some reason I can't get to it right now. They probably have a contact or feedback page. 7th Heaven is produced by Spelling Television, its creator is Brenda Hampton, so you might try searching that too. I think it's a great idea to start flooding them with requests for a successful bf character in the storyline! And if they do it, send lots of kudos, if they don't, lots of shame-on-yous!

Y'know, I watch all the "Roseanne" reruns & she always talks about b/fing all her TV kids as babes.
When she had "Jerry" (Buck IRL), she b'f him.
there's 1 show where she & Jackie & baby Jerry were on a road trip & she pulls over to b/f the baby when the Cops come up to her car & get embarrassed about the b'f.

Also when Jackie marries Fred (her babes dad) she b/f's baby Andy while taking her Vows.

You know, when the mother had her twins, they had a great shot of her tandem nursing both of them. This was after she fought against having a scheduled c-section, and ending up with a natural childbirth! We don't have tv service anymore, but I always liked this show. They might be amenable to it. I think she should also nurse past a year!

promom.org does have a nice 3 minute acitivist area. I had no clue! I learn so much here at MDC!

I know there are some shows that have done breastfeeding in the past, but does anyone know of any shows where there is currently a breastfeeding mom? Just wondering.....

On Desperate Housewives the mom with the four kids under age 6 was shown NIPing at the wake in the first episode.

Lately, though, they've focused on the out-of-control twins so much that it seems that they must have given away both the baby and the older boy.

The last episode that I saw there was a bottle prominently displayed in a kitchen scene.
