I had my sonogram today!!!
The sonogram was like 3 minutes long lol.. But right away I saw the baby. I'm so glad I know what should be in there otherwise I'd be clueless. In a way it's a good thing, but sometimes it's bad to know too much.
I told dh before hand that if there was a pregnancy and not just a sac, you'd see a tiny circle for a yolk sac, a bigger black circle for the gestational sac, and then a fuzz of baby the size of a pea or smaller. Also that the heart may not be visibly beating yet but I wasn't going to be worried if there wasn't.
Damn if the technician didn't say all of the above when we walked in.
So anyway I'm relieved and surprised. Now I feel like I can move on!!!
We did see the heart beating but the baby was so tiny that she couldn't get a count. I measured 6 weeks exactly although by when I ovulated I'm 3 days ahead of that. I'm going by what I've got even though sonograms are supposed to be very accurate early on. Not that I want to stick by a certain due date, but being a control freak I like a date in my head. Plus I know when I had sex lol!!!
So anyway PHEW!!!!
