Help! my ds just took a swig of gentian violet as I was applying it. do i have to be worried? he drank maybe a quarter of a teaspoon. AAAAAAK!

2-4 cups of milk to dilute, and CALL DOCTOR or have him seen ASAP. It can cause severe burns to throat, esophagus, mouth et c if taken internally.

All right, I'm calling hte doc. I don't think he got that much now wthat I'm looking at the glass, but better safe than sorry...

If he didnt get too much of it, the most he'll end up with is nausea and a good case of the runs .. but it can be VERY irritating to sensitive tissue, like mouth, mucus membranes, esophagus, et c.
