Abimommy, I just saw that you were in KC....I'm over here in Lawrence. I have heard rumor (and I can't even freakin remember where I heard it, isn't that pitiful....) of an back to back showing of the three movies on the day the EE version comes out. I was thinking for some reason it was to be held at that older movie theater on Metcalf. Have you heard ANYTHING about this, either there or anywhere else in KC? If so, please let me know! I told oldest dd I would pull her out of school that day, and we would go....I *really* want to see them all three, back to back. If not, I guess I'll sit at home all day watching them.....but it would be so much cooler on the big screen!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I don't have the plug in and it won't let me download it. GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. My dh got mad because I told him that ROTKEE didn't count as a Christmas gift, as it had to be purchased and most likely viewed on the 14th.

It's always a good morning when Orlando Bloom's voice comes out of your speakers...

HI!

They did it when ROK came out. They played the first two earlier so they could start on ROK at midnight!

That is Glenwood theater, they put a Whole Foods where the theater used to be and moved the theater to Metcalf South mall. (everyone was mad that they were tearing down the theater so they moved the stuff to the mall)

I will check and see if anyone is doing it for the release of the EE.

That is silly, of *course* it doesn't count as a Christmas gift. How could you wait until Christmas?

Why is it only LOTR that has an extended version being released? : Not fair ~ I can think of another movie that should be extended..................... (I've always wanted to use that smilie.... )

It doesnt' look like they are doing the end though...the return to hobbiton to deal with saruman....one of my favorite parts of the book.

But still! I can't wait!

Thanks, Abimommy, for checking on that. If they do, I will totally be there.

And I agree, this is NOT a Christmas gift....it is a necessity!!!

Oooh....yummy. I can't wait! I Eowyn & Faramir. I'm really hoping part of that 50 minutes is the Houses of Healing :

Only 1 more month! (Of course, Smallville season 3 comes out next week, so I should be set for a little while. But that's another thread.)

Lori & Abimommy - let me know if they do something at Metcalf - I'm in Topeka, but I'm totally there!
