Today is my "estimated due date"....

and I'm about ready to jump out of my skin! I feel like if I'm pregnant for five more minutes, I'm going to lose my mind.

I told my mom I think it's old karma from stressing over "overdue" assignments back in my horrible times as a public school kid, but I really don't want to be overdue!

I know it's silly. Due dates don't mean anything. But I woke up at 7 this morning wide awake like it's Christmas morning or something, everything is ready, the birth tub is inflated, the pot to make the birthday chili (for the midwives and the doula, not the baby ) is on the stove....

I want my baby now!

Edit: Five seconds after I hit the button to post this, my friend IMed me: "No baby yet?!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

I know just how you feel!
My "due date" was Monday and all day I felt tremendous pressure to be on time! I started to relax yesterday, and today's even better. We can't be pregnant forever, right?

Yeah, I'm with pease- it gets better. I'm feeling okay about the potential of being pregnant for another week or two. But Sat. and Sun. (my due date was Sat.) I was freaking out. I feel a bit more relaxed now, less pressured to perform or something. Unfortunately, I grow more uncomfortable each day. But at least I'm not so mentally drained right now, which I think is worse than the physical discomfort.
