No, I haven't heard anything yet. The only thing I've heard is the title, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

I just love Harry Potter! I think I like the series more than my daughters! We were fans since the series first came out. The Order of the Phoenix was an amazing book, much darker in tone than the first four, but still with a lot of light-hearted Harry moments. Can't wait for the 6th book!

There has not yet been an official release date.

You can check www.jkrowling.com for lots of good info on the books. I'm sure the release date will be posted there when it's available (through a series of puzzles to solve to get there, of course).

I HP too! I am excited that the new DVD is coming out! I am excited for the new book! Excited, Excited, Excited (sorry maybe a little too much coffee this morning!)

BTW - if you all are looking for good "kids" books, check out Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunant Events. I really like them + the movie is coming out next month of the first 3 books (with Jim Carrey!). They are quick reads perfect for a mom.

*Love* the HP books. Hate the movies. Found Unfortunate Events books to be okay, but after the first few I got bored (there was a cool interview with the author on NPR a couple of weeks ago, and I realized that I had read his zine).

You can chose no graphics on the opening page and jk's site loads with no problems, but then you can't do the puzzles and stuff. You can still read everything, though.
