CerridwenLorelei~ You're right. The envelope system is just a bunch of envelopes stored in a big envelope (manilla) or some companies sell a bunch of envelopes spiral-bound together, etc. Then you sit down and do your budget and figure out what percentage should go into each envelope per paycheck.

gardenmom~ We do the pay the smallest first method, because then you have less bills to pay, sooner, kwim? But I suppose it really depends on who or where one gets their financial advice from

I thought so but wasn't sure

well after toying with/reading it the budgetmap will be going back
If I feel up to it Saturday after tomorrow's test I will have ds take me to the post office and package it up to return....hopefully they will make good on their 90 day return
