Yeah, I agree, keeping the conversion rate up to date would be a major pain. If X-Cart was like Zen and did the automatic conversion and updated the rate daily automatically, then it would be ok, but I saw no point in adding in the dropdown box for customers to choose their currency and then have them still being billed in US whether they purchased in US, CAD, or something else. I do though show an *approx* CAD rate so they at least have an idea, I set it a little high, so if anything, my customers will be pleasantly surprised
I just love how Zen does it so much
My accounting program handles both currencies at the exchange rate for the day the transaction was made, so accounting wise it's very manageable for me. But the program was definitely pricier then a standard single currency accounting program.
