I just KoolAid dyed an Aristocrat with Blue Moon Berry...did not wear gloves :

Now, I have blue (and I mean BRIGHT blue fingers!!!)....

My 5 year old son suggested I get some "tan" koolaid :LOL (we're hispanic ) but I'm hoping you ladies have a better suggestion!

HELP please!

Go get into the bathtub. Soak, soak, soak with some soap. It will come off.

LOL, it will be gone by tomorrow. I have done that many a time... once when I did green and blue my hands looked like corpse hands. It washes away though...

P.S. I had Cherry hands last week.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. It eventually came off due to the fact that I'm washing my hands at least once every 30 min around here!!! I didn't use anything special, just repeated washing w/ soap & water.

Sorry I couldn't offer a "quick fix".

I've done that, too! I used a pumice scrub and it came right off.

Try using something comparable to a windex and then moisture, BIG TIME!!

I use a glass cleaner to remove KoolAid dye from my hands and then lotion up!!

It helps to know I'm not the only one who's done this....

I was feeling rather ... sheepish Thanks ladies! I'm going to just keep washing my hands!

I did have a good thought....at least I'll be able to do some cloth diaper advocacy when I'm out and about this weekend. I'm sure I'll get lots of questions about my fingers! What better way to introduce the joys of cloth! :LOL

TOOTHPASTE!

take a toothbrush and scrub those babies with toothpaste. I always forget to wear gloves too. This will work if you need to go out into public today

yep-I will second the suggestion made by Holli-the store bought stuff just doesn't work near as well as my handmade soaps-it'll take that stain right off (except on the really dry parts of my cuticles LOL). I too have had corpse hands :0 , as well as blue, green, purple, pink..........pretty much any color you can imagine LOL. I don't sweat it-it is part of the job and just makes life more interesting (and it smells good too!).

I find that washing my hair does the trick./ Oddly, washing my hands with shampoo will not get it off, but washing my hair in the shower does it every time.
Mmmm, mango koolaid. Just do a little overdye!
