Our first ultrasound!!

Yesterday was the first ultrasound and it was so much fun

It amazed me to see how active the baby was! He was moving and bouncing around all over the place! At one point he put his feet up against the edge of his bubble and pushed off, we could see his little knees bend and there he went. I didn't know they moved so much so early.. I can't wait til I can feel it! (remind me of this at eight months, hehe)

I say 'he' but it's too early to tell yet - we could see arms and legs and the face, but not that. I had the u/s to check on my dates, because my uterus is feeling so big, but it turns out it's because of a fibroid on the top of my uterus. And the baby is measuring big - one measurement said 11wks6ds, the other said 12wks1d, and we thought I was eleven weeks... but she didn't change my due date, which she calculates as June 1st. I'm glad of that.

that's awsome..i saw the first ultrasound with ds1 when i was 12 weeks...I remember at first he was just sitting there serenly..and we were so in love. then he started kicking all about and we all jsut started balling with joy. we had no idea that he was moving so early and were really delighted to see him wiggling about congrats aon a wonderful ultrasound..he looks great!
