Sugar crash before Lunch today and the dizzies...

Man this dizziness is getting annoying. If I get up from sitting down on the floor or get up too fast from doing anything my head spins. I didn't have this with my other pregnancies.
Then today I hadn't eaten anything and am in line at the bagel place and all of a sudden just crashed and had to buy a brownie and eat it before my lunch was ready. One of those head hungry moments. I could have eaten several other food items while I was there lol!
So what's up with this dizziness? You see pregnant women fainting in the movies all the time but I thought it was actually kind of rare since I never saw it or heard of it IRL.

I believe it has to do with low blood pressure. The "dizzies" are called postural hypotension. Our pregnant bodies are working hard to make more blood (enough for our body plus baby) but there is a bit of a lag time. My naturopath checked my blood pressure last week: 89 over 55. That is low low low. (normal is 120/80) No wonder we feel dizzy. Keep drinking that water. Getting lots of rest. Salt your food to taste. Cheers

Low bp... I probably should have realized this.
I do medical exams on people applying for life insurance, you'd have thought this would have occured to me. I'll take my bp and see what it is.
But first I'm going to eat some broccoli in garlic sauce.
I waited in the chinese place for about 20 minutes about to keel over, begging the dude behind the counter with my face to please hurry it up. Too bad I don't have a huge belly yet or maybe I would have gotten free spring rolls for having to wait so long!!!!!

my mom used to pass out all the time when she was pregnant with my little brother. We stayed close to home for the most part :LOL
