will joann's fleece work for pocket dipes?

i was wondering if any of you have tried to make pockets with joann's fleece. i got some anti-pill and some alpine on sale yesterday. The alpine seems much too light weight to me. I made ds a hoodie and matching pants yesterday out of the alpine and it turned out well (though i really should've made the hoodie a size larger), so I think I will put a fitted on him with the pants over him and see what happens. If it works, maybe I will attempt a pocket...

I think I'm also going to make a baby blanket. I was thinking of doing that no-sew one with the fringe that you tie knots in all the way around unless anyone knows of a better idea...

I used the Microfleece from Joann's to make a fleece cover. It works great! I can't remember the brand of fabric but it was around $9.99 a yard. (used my 50% coupon )

Cool! I'm gonna try it. Did you use one layer of fleece or two?

My experiment with the fitted and the pants didn't go very well. He pooped all over the pants before he got wet enough to be able to tell. It would be cool if this alpine stuff worked b/c it would be trim. I think I'm gonna try. The worst that could happen is I'll have to use when he's wearing his fleece pants over it.
