hey! In preparing to put up some jams and jellies, i found 2 boxes of pectin (dated "use before 1999!) lurking in the back of the cubboard. Naughty things...how did they escape so many canning seasons!?!? Anyhow, does anyone know if I can still use them? How long does pectin last? TIA!!!
