I want to make a nursing necklace for a friend of mine's baby shower, but what the heck do i use for cord? I have hemp and kangaroo tail (polyester?) here, and have easy access to a beading store. The thickness shouldn't really matter, because I have some fairly nifty beads with large holes.
Also, should I use a clasp, or just make the necklace long and tie a knot firmly?
