wool/hemp yarn?? experience??

i just got a few skeins of hemp/wool yarn. its 50/50.
Anyone wh has experience with it?
Its dyed and hanging to dry now, just waiting to be used.
Is it ok for....
Soakers (and if yes whats your experience?),
socks (will the hemp make the heel stronger?),
hats/mittens/scarves,
general crafting,
???
also how much will it shrink (or felt for that matter) if any?
the brand name is Mother nature.
Anyone????

I have some and I really like it, but I don't think it would work well for soakers. Because of the hemp it will absorb some of the wetness, so it won't really be wet proof, kwim? Am I making sense? I am so tired, maybe I shouldn't be posting. :LOL

first off...DO NOT USE for soakers lol
It did not pass a 1 hour test on ds.....
BUT.................
It made me an excellent pair of mittens. I love love this yarn for mittens. i have been wearing them now for about 1 month and love them so much. I have also made my sister a few bath puffs, i am making myself a hat, and I think this yarn would be absoluely perfect for a throw blanket on the couch.
I just got outbid at ebay and need to find more so I can make that blanket.
So over all its... 2 thumbs up..
I cant be happier with my mittens and my sister loves her bath puffs

It's natural...50% Wool 50% Hemp Unless you'd like me to try to dye it (I've dyed it before, the wool takes the dye, the hemp does not so it's a heathery look)...
