What did you eat today?

It's only lunch time here, but I saw this off another board and thought it would be fun here.

I'll check back later and tell you what I ate!

Breakfast: oven baked oatmeal with milk, apples, dried cranberries. Hardboiled egg. Half grapefruit.

Lunch: Stirfried tempeh with green beans, rice, other veggies (ate at the whole foods store).

Snack: veggie booty with my toddler, decaf coffee with eggnog

Dinner will be turkey and bean chili, broccoli, leftover squash, and probably one more veggie.

Maybe some cheese for another snack, and an apple.

Embarassed... not healthy

Breakfast: Raisin Bran (Kroger brand cause it is highest in fiber)
Snack: a banana and ummmm a Little Debbie jelly roll

Lunch: Crunchy peanut butter and low sugar preserves on whole wheat bread

Snack: broccoli and cauliflower

Dinner: Not sure yet.

Oh boy - here we go...

Breakfast - Rice Krispies - with sugar added.

Pre-Lunch - Tuna Fish sandwich (Yes I'm aware of the Mercury..etc, etc. ) Um, a piece of candy I think. Big glass of water

Lunch - Baked potato w/butter and cheese..wish there was more cheese....

Snack - Pickles wrapped in turkey and cheese (basically a sandwich without the bread I guess...but tasty!) - deli meat - another no-no huh? I'm awful! lol

more snack - couple more pieces of candy. A can of coke..I know, naughty naughty. (Mean left over halloween candy!)

Dinner (yet to come) - We're having Chick-Fil-A - probably a chicken sandwich with their waffle fries and ice tea. :

I'm sure there's another snack to come to...

I'll join in, its fun to get ideas from other mama's menus!

small bowl of oatmeal with yogurt and brown sugar
decadent, rocky road square (bad mama!)
Potato pea samosa
reheated whole wheat pasta with meat and veg. sauce
half a ginger ale
whole wheat raisin toast with butter
rasberry ginger tea
homemade chicken noodle soup with lots of veggies
2 small caramilk bars from dd's halloween stash!
bedtime snack still to come....
lots of water all day

4:00 am when i got up to go potty i had a lemon muffin
breakfast - grapefruit
4 rolos and half an apple
lunch - 2 slices of toast with jelly (which took me more than 30 min to eat because i was so sick...this is the only thing i can eat lately without getting sick)
string cheese
dinner - cowboy casserole (potatoes, cheese, hanburger, beans and corn)
some popcorn

lots of water and a glass of milk today too.

i am looking forward to being able to feel well enough to eat what i have cooked for the family. lately i have been fixing dinner and take one bite of it and have to go back to eating two slices of toast with jelly on it. :

I absolutely LOVe you guys! First of all, i love how you guys are trying to eat healthy. On the other board that I go to, which is not crunchy at all, it is a whole nuther (sic) world - what these women are eating during their pregnancies. Like, all the things we are embarassed for - is all they eat!!! And they aren't eating very much at all, which made me feel like a hog. I snack all day. They are eating like 3 meals a day, no snacks, and I'm like - holy cow OINK OINK. But, here, you guys eat more like me. You try, you eat, and I love that you are human, too, and not perfect in your healthy eating!
Oh, and Anita - I've been eating deli meat, too!

Oh yeah, here's what I ate today:
BF - oatmeal with apple and brown sugar.
S - 2 large glasses of soy milk with coffee flavor and one had whip cream!
Lunch - So took me to Wendys, where I had a bacon cheeseburger (can we say hormones!?) and a baked potato. But, I didnt' eat the skin, cause it looked really iffy. I put sour cream and salsa on it. I also snagged a few of SO's fries!
S-a couple of hard boiled eggs
Pre-dinner - a couple of crackers, 1/2C egg nog and 1/2 a biscotti type thingy
D - meat loaf, mashed tatos, sweet tatos, and green beans (MIL made - YUMMY!)
D- get this!! ---> 1 pc. bundt cake, 1 scp. vanilla ice cream, and another biscotti

HEEHEE!!! Too many sweet, not enough veggies today!

I'm so embarrassed

Breakfast: 1/4 a thing of candy cane ice cream
Lunch: a super roast beef sandwich from Arby's
Dinner: oven fried chicken with mashed potato's and Tom Kha Soup

I've been eating horrible today, I am going no sugar tomorrow so, I have been binging on sugar!

B- org cornflakes, org milk
s- Ham and cheese on homemade bread (we get preservative and nitrate free black forest ham from a local organic butcher!)
L- reheated spaghetti, 1 glass cream soda, handful of jelly beans
s- orange, cream soda
s- two pieces of toast, 1 with cheeze whiz (OMG my worst pregnancy craving!)
D- BBQ org chicken legs, noodles in cream sauce, brocolli and cauliflower, piece of dutch apple cake
s- ginger ale, handful of jelly beans, hey a half a little bag of Xmas mini eggs in the truck!

That it. I'm feeling gross. tomorrow is day 1 of no sugar again. Expect to hear whining!

Breakfast - spirulina, yogurt & fruit (peaches, berries, banana) smoothie and everything bagel with cream cheese

lunch - 2 egg omlet with mushrooms & onion wrapped in a tortilla (white flour, but organic)

dinner - Amy's frozen pizza with mushrooms, olives & added fake pepperoni

snack - banana

snack - half a Taco Bell bean burrito

snack - sourdough pretzel nibblets

snack - Karmal Sutra ice cream

I think I'll have a pickel now.

Yesterday, if I can remember!
Breakfast- 1 egg, 1 peices whole wheat toast, 1 slice cheese
Nasty tea that I will be taking back to TJ's.
Lunch - Left over spghetti and chicken noodle soup
Snack - french onion soup YUMM! (I am out. need more!)
Snack - Lite popcorn from TJ's
Earl grey tea & Irish Breakfast tea alternated during day
Dinner - Chinese Chicken Salad from Wendys & 1/2 frosty for desert.

Need way more veggies & fruits. Need to hit the fruit stand!
(I like this thread. It is way eaiser to keep it all in check this way!)

My Tuesday Menu

Just thought I'd keep up with the posting...

Today I've had

Breakfast: Toaster Strudal's - Strawberry and Cream Cheese

Snack: my boss ordered us food from Applebeas, since I had lunch already, she got me their brownie a la mode (so that would be my hot fudge sundae for the week..maybe even next week with as rich as that sucker was!)

Lunch - Tuna Sandwich - 1 cookie

Dinner - haven't made it this far yet.

So far today, 2 apples and a bowl of ice cream (midwife's orders, you know )
Chicken noodle soup for lunch.
A bunch of Nacho Cheese Doritos (and I don't even like nacho cheese doritos!)
Spicey chicken and veggies with white rice

Tuesday

Before breakfast- 1/2 little debbie jelly roll
breakfast- 3 egg whites, 1 piece of toast and preserves and a banana
snack- orange (mmmmmm) cherry yogurt
lunch and still snacking on it- Thai takeout 3 spring rolls (these are very yummy wrapped in rice paper is lettuce, rice noodles,carrots, mint, cilantro- but not sure about that. these are NOT fried) Yum Woonsen a noodle dish. No MSG!!!

DINNER- Still not sure maybe steak and steamed veggies.

snack - handful of choc. chips
lunch - 1 slice of pizza
i am just getting ready to make some stir-fried pork

For today I have had

Breakfast- French Toast
an hour later I had an egg salad sandwhich
Lunch - Subway 6" cold cut sandwhich
Snack - Chocolate protein shake & Banana (need to go make it right now)
Dinner will be Spagetti & meat sauce with lots of veggies in the sauce
And I'm sure a sandwhich or hotdog before bed.

I know I can't spell but goodness!

Ok, so far today I've had... (not a banner day, I'm afraid)
2 halloween choc. bars
1 bowl oatmeal with yogurt and brown sugar
1 cup Stoneyfield French Vanilla yogurt (the full fat kind)
1 apple
1 fast food burger and half a small fries
There will definitely have to be lots of veggies for supper, at this rate baby will be born malnourished!

Oh dear, not so good today. Well, starting last night after my pretty good menu, I got up at 11 p.m. because I was hungry and ate--hard boiled egg, and half a bag of Barbara's cheese puffs : Well, at least no PHO's.

Tuesday:
BF: hard boiled egg, glass of 100% cranberry juice (was having early UTI symptoms--wow, that stuff is SOUR! but I got it down). Some tamari almonds.

early Lunch: nitrate-free turkey sandwich, heated, with (pasteurized) goat cheese, avocado and mayo. Sauerkraut. decaf coffe with eggnog again.

Snack: 3/4 bar of dark chocolate Few more cheese puffs.

Snack: turkey burger. Carrot sticks.

Dinner: 3-4 servings of brussel sprouts, spaghetti squash, tomato soup.

I don't know if this thread is good for me or not--it is keeping me accountable, but then I don't feel as bad about eating no-no's when I see you all are about the same!
