PLEASE tell me that "We Like to Nurse" comes in a board book....

My son has the paperback version of "We Like To Nurse" and accidentally ripped his favorite page (the one with the mama and baby)...right after he did that, he started crying when he couldn't get it fixed. Please tell me this book comes as a board book?!? It's his favorite book and the last page is is favorite picture, and he just doesn't understand that paper rips and it's permenant when it does...

I've been looking for that book. Where did you get it at? I just bought "The Biggest Bed in the World" since we co-sleep.....now I would like to get a nursing book too. Do you know if they make a babywearing book? Then we would be complete, lol!

We got the original book at solterra books (although Barnes and Nobel has it too).

As for babywearing... There's "A Ride on Mother's Back", which has pretty pictures, but it's not really a children's story book. We have it...it's very pretty. We also have the "Backpack baby" series...which is a series of board books about a baby named "backpack baby" who rides on his dad's back. There's a series of 4 books...here's the first one http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...87734589&itm=1 There's one where the dad carries a baby on the front and a baby on the back.

LOL...I guess noone has the answer to my question... But hey, lots of recommendations in here for everyone else, so I guess it served some purpose. I guess I'll just have to buy 2 or 3 more copies of the book so this doesn't happen again....

Using very simple text and bright pictures, 13 mother-baby animal pairs are shown nursing, with a simple statement about each. The pairs include monkeys, elephants, leopards, giraffes, llamas, pandas, zebras, cows, pigs, dogs, sheep, cats, and horses. The book ends with a human mother and baby and the words, "We like to nurse." The lack of a title on the book spine makes it difficult to shelve in a library or bookstore, and it would probably not stand up well to rough handling by many readers. But the pamphlet-like format makes it an easy book to take along on outings, and it is an excellent choice for a nursing toddler who would like to point to and name pictures of other mother-baby nursing pairs.

I noticed comments on Amazon and other books sites asking why the book isn't availible as a board book.

Thank you. Aw man....why oh why does my son's favorite book have to be paperback.... (LOL...why do they even make non-board toddler books? : ) LOL...maybe I'll have to get another copy and laminate all the pages... You should have seen this poor kid cry when his favorite page ripped.
